To let teachers take registers and see emergency contact details without access to messaging or invoices, give them Teacher access, assign them to their classes and choose what your printed register shows. Teacher access is the most limited access level: a teacher can only see their own classes and the registers for those classes.
For: team members with Full access.
Good to know
membermeister uses your account's own configured terminology, so you may see different words for Teacher, Class and Student.
Teachers can't see messages, invoices or payments, and can't open the student list.
On the register, a teacher sees the medical icon next to a student who has medical notes. Hovering over it shows the notes.
Step 1: Add the teacher with Teacher access
Add the teacher as a team member, allow them to log in and choose Teacher as their access level. Full steps are in the article below.
Step 2: Assign the teacher to their classes
A teacher only sees the classes they are assigned to. Open each class, click Edit class and choose the teacher in the Teacher field.
Step 3: Choose what the printed register shows
Teachers can click Print register on their own classes. This opens the register as a PDF using the settings you saved for printed registers, so it is where you decide which contact details teachers can see. The teacher doesn't need to print it: they can just open it on screen, for example to find an emergency contact number.
To set this up, go to Classes > Overview, tick a class, click Print register, choose the columns and keep Remember settings ticked.
