How to hide a class from your website timetable

Hide or remove a class from the timetable on your website, and see what the Show on timetable switch does.

Written by Stefan Richter

To hide a class from the timetable on your website, open your timetable in Account Settings and hide or remove the class there.

For: team members with Full or Finance access.

Good to know

  • Hide or remove. Hide keeps the class in your timetable settings so you can show it again later. Remove takes it off the timetable completely; to add it back, publish it again from your classes overview.

  • The class itself isn't changed. Hiding or removing it from your website timetable doesn't affect its students, registers or invoices.

  • Terminology. membermeister uses your account's own configured terminology, so you may see your own word for classes and students instead.

  • The Show on timetable switch in Edit class doesn't change your website timetable: it controls the personal timetable your students receive by email.

Hide a class from your website timetable

  1. Select your name in the top right corner, then select Account Settings.

  2. Scroll down to the Timetable panel and select View timetable.

  3. Find the class and select the three vertical dots to the right of it.

  4. Select Hide class, or Remove class to take it off the timetable completely.

The change is saved straight away. To show a hidden class again, select the three dots and then Show class.

Hide or show all classes at once

  1. On the same timetable page, select More at the top right.

  2. Select Hide all, Show all or Remove all, then confirm.

What the Show on timetable switch does

Each class also has a Show on timetable switch, under Edit class > Additional options. It decides whether the class appears on a student's own timetable, the one you can email to them from their profile. Set it to No if you don't want a class to show there, for example while you're still planning it.

Tips

  • Check your website afterwards. Reload the page with your timetable to make sure all updates have been processed correctly.

  • Planning ahead? Publish a new class to your timetable only when you're ready for customers to see it.
