What is it, and why would I use it?
This widget lets you display your membermeister Classes Overview timetable directly on your company website. If you currently find yourself constantly updating your website (or paying someone else to do it!) every time your timetable changes, this feature will save you the hassle.
In this article, we’ll walk you through how to set up the timetable widget and customise its style to match your website’s colour scheme.
Prerequisites:
You need to have your own website, and access to create and edit content.
You will need to copy and paste a small amount of code on to a page in your website.
If you're looking to take online bookings for classes, trials and workshops, you'll want this guide to online bookings instead.
While the setup is fairly straightforward, if you’re not confident doing it yourself, your website professional will be able to help. As always, we’re happy to answer any questions you may have.
How to configure timetable widget
To get started, go to the Classes tab and select Overview.
Select all of the classes you want to include on your public timetable by clicking the checkbox to the left of the class name.
Click the Publish button at the top of the page and confirm your selection.
Should you want to add additional classes in the future, simply repeat steps 1 to 3. On the next page you can configure how your website will look.
a. In the Trusted domain field, enter your website address — there’s no need to include “www” at the start.
b. Use the dropdown menu to change the Status from Unpublished to Published. This lets you easily turn your timetable on or off on your website once it’s installed.
In this section, you can set a Title for your timetable and add a Footer using the Notes field. If the page where you’ll be adding your timetable already includes a header, you might prefer to leave the Title field blank.
To change the background and text colours, click the colour palette icon to open the colour chart. Use the white circular selectors to choose the colours that best match your website.
On the right-hand side of the page, you’ll see a preview showing how the timetable widget will appear on your website.
To temporarily hide or permanently remove a class from the register, click the three vertical dots to the right of the class and select the option you need.
8. When you’re happy with your settings, click the green Save changes button at the bottom of the page.
How to install the widget on your website
Click your name in the top-right corner of membermeister, then select Account Settings.
Scroll to the very bottom of the page to the section called Online timetable.
Click the blue Copy to clipboard button — this copies the code you’ll need to embed on your website. Then open your website editor and paste the code into the section where you’d like the timetable to appear.
