What is it, and why would I use it?

The timetable widget allows you to display the class timetable from your membermeister account publicly on your company website. If you are finding that you are constantly having to update your website (or pay someone else to!) each time you make a change to your timetable, then this is definitely the feature for you.

This article will show you how to set up the timetable widget, and stylise it to match the colour scheme used on your website.

Prerequisites:

  1. You need to have your own website, and access to create and edit content.

  2. You will need to copy and paste a small amount of code on to a page in your website.

While this is pretty straightforward, if you aren't confident doing this yourself, you may need to ask your website professional to do this for you. As always, we will do our best to answer any queries you may have.

How to configure timetable widget

  1. To get started, go to the Classes tab and select Overview.

  2. Select all of the classes you want to include on your public timetable by clicking the checkbox to the left of the class name.

  3. Click the Publish button at the top of the page and confirm your selection.

Should you want to add additional classes in the future, simply repeat steps 1 to 3.

  4. On the next page you can configure how your website will look.

    a. The 'Trusted domain' field will be your website address. You do not need to type 'www' before the website name.

    b. Change the Status field from unpublished to published, using the dropdown menu. This will allow you to turn your timetable on and off for your website after it's installed.

  5. In the section below you can set a title for the timetable, as well as a footer using the Notes field. If the page you will be adding your timetable to already has a header, you may wish to leave the Title field blank.

To change the background and text colours, click on the colour palette to open up the colour chart. Use the white circular colour selectors to find a colour that suits.

  6. On the right of this page, you will see a preview of how the timetable widget will look on your website.

To temporarily hide or permanently remove a class from the register, click the three vertical dots to the right of the class, and select the relevant option.

8. When you are happy with everything, click the green Save changes button toward the bottom of the page.

How to install the widget on your website

  1. Go to your name in the top-right corner of membermeister, and click Account Settings.

  2. Scroll to the very bottom of the page, to the section called Online timetable.

  3. Click the blue Copy to clipboard button. This is copying the code that you need to embed into your website. Open your website editor and paste this code into the desired section.
